A night with Katie Scott and Persuasion...

It was a great night out at Number 5 with Katie Scott and Persuasion. The band played a spectacular variety of favorites from Van Morrison's 'Brown Eyed Girl' to Rihanna's 'Diamonds'. I really enjoyed myself, singing along while capturing some photo magic!

I purchased some flash accessories last week, a mini softbox and an omni bounce. I can’t wait to play with my new toys!

A local musician contacted me and wants me to take pictures of him and his bands. I will be at Number 5 this Friday night taking pictures of Katie Scott and the Persuasions. I cannot wait, it should be fun! So, come on down!!!

Engagement Photos!!!

I finally roped him in!!! It only took marginal bullying! ;)

Despite the chill in the air and the fact that my fiancé is I guess you can call it camera shy, I think our mini photo shoot was a great success! It was a perfect day to take pictures outside because it was overcast, so we didn’t have to worry about any pesky shadows. I would like to thank my trusty tripod and my camera’s self-timer. Happy 2014!!!

Wow! December flew by! Happy 2014 Everyone!!!

Here are some December highlights:

• Disney World! I really enjoyed visiting Disney as an adult. Plus, rocking shorts in December was a gigantic bonus!!! I can’t believe it was all started with just a little mouse! Like Abraham Lincoln, Walt Disney had “failures,” but neither of them gave up. Nothing is accomplished by giving up! The days are getting shorter. The air has a crispness that takes your breath away. The landscape has transformed from brown to a dazzling sparkly white. It has been a regular winter wonderland out there and I am relishing in its beauty!
